They are first found in Delaware Co. Iowa in 1855. Nothing before that. Family lore has them coming to America from Ireland through the "New England states" and possibly marrying in New York. Have lots of info from census in IA, but absolutely nothing before that. As if they dropped out of thin air into IA! Notify Administrator about this message?
