The reason I believe there might be a relationship is that there were three men called Theodore Spicer, one born around 1790, his son around 1832, and next his grandson, Theodore A. Spicer. There is a message from a Stacey to me regarding a Calvin M. Hopkins marrying an Annie Mary Spicer. It is quite possible that Annie Mary Spicer is a decendent of one of these Theodores and she named one of her sons. Hope I'm right.
