I am searching on information for the Conner side. Susan Patheny McDonald(McDonnell) and 'Sac' Conner are my greatgrandparents on my dad's side. Mary Conner married John Wesley Grounds and had five girls: Mary(Mollie), Susie, Percilar, Johnnie Adean, and Agnes, and one boy: Junis Fenis (Buddy) Grounds(my dad). Elizabeth Jane Walker McDonald and Sevier McDonald was Susan parents and Elizabeth Grounds and William McDonald was Seviers' parents. Yours is the third name I have came across for Mary Elizabeth's dad. My cousins always believed his name was John Saxton Conner. One history says it is Isaac 'Sac' Conner. If you have any information on who his parents are, it would really help me in my search. Some say his grandfather was John Conner, tribal chief of the Delaware tribe. I have not been able to find any records of this man's children. Any ideas?
