It was both. The name was Alice, legally, and Celia in Sipple family usage (nickname). Ergo, all records dating from after her marriage seem to use Celia, but the Walker family and marriage references, I believe, are Alice. My notes are stored away. We're completing a new house, with yours truly as the builder. One of these days, I'll have time to recheck.
