Absalom McElwee and Ellen

I am searching for info on my gggrandparents.I found a 1840 census record for Murderkill, Kent, Delaware that I believe is them. Absalom may have died and is buried there. In 1850 census records for Pa Absalom is no longer with family. Absalom was born 1790-95. Ellen was born 1796. So if anyone has info or suggestions on this family I would be very happy.
