Does anyone have any information on the children of Reverend Alexander Huston? Here is what I have found about Alexander on the Internet: Rev. Alexander Huston (born before 1740) was the son of Samuel Huston, and was born in Dublin, Ireland, and came to Delaware in the early part of the eighteenth century. He graduated from Princeton College in 1760, and received his license from the Presbytery of Lewes, Delaware about 1763. He was ordained in 1764, and installed as pastor of Murderkill and Three Runs churches in Kent County, Delaware, where he remained until his death, January 3, 1785. According to Bible Records of the Young family, Alexander married in 1766 Ann (Nancy) Fullerton, daughter of John Fullerton of Kent County. Based on distributions made from the estate upon Ann's death (around January, 1801), the children of Alexander and Ann were: John Huston Samuel Huston - Baptized April 15, 1771 Thomas Huston Alexander Huston Ann (Nancy) Huston These five children received cash distributions from their mother's estate on June 22, 1803, so they were apparently all still alive and in Kent County, DE at least on that date. Son Samuel married Esther Robins Young. According to Delaware Probate records, Esther died in 1814, at which time Samuel was already dead, and she left a minor child named Hester Ann Huston. Does anyone have any information on Alexander's other three sons: John, Thomas, and Alexander? Notify Administrator about this message?
