Looking for parents and siblings of this elusive 4th-gr-grandmother, Granny T. Have no info. regarding her ancestry. Family tradition shows she was born in PA to a family that had lived in DE (possibly Kent Co.?). Supposedly the THOMPSON men were preachers or circuit riders. Her family may have migrated west after the Rev. War and settled in Adams or Brown Co., OH. Granny T. married Nathaniel GLAZE (1788-1844) Nov. 19, 1812, Seneca, Adams Co., OH. Lived in Brown Co., OH, all of their married life.
Children: James Albert, Ritta Ann, Alla, and Ruth.
At the time of Granny T's death she was living in Vermilion Co., IL with her daughter (Ritta) Ann GLAZE WATERS. Granny T. is buried at Mann's Chapel, Rossville, Vermilion Co., IL.
