I have never noted the name Piercy in the Delaware

Harringtons. The Bersha you noted was probably

Barsheba as noted in the 1800 cencus. He was in the

2nd Delaware Regiment of Col.Neills. The town was

named after Samuel Maxwell Harrington Chief Justice

and Chancellor of Delaware.
