Hi Judith,
Thanks so much for responding to my post. I don't think that my William T. is the same as the one that you mention, but it seems likely that he could be the father to my William T. I've always had the hunch that my William T. (born 1853) had a dad by the same name because he always went by Thomas - his middle name. If you find out anything else about this family please pass it along. It seems very likely that there could be a connection here. If I find out anything else, I'll let you know.
