in 1800 census for murderkill , kent co , delaware, i find an elizabeth limber living alone. never have been able to find her again. a john limber born in delaware abt 1765 went to woodcock township, crawford co, pa in 1794.i think he spent time in another place in pa before he got there, perhaps was even married and had a son (john limber b 1789 pa.) before he got to crawford county. he married there twice.i do not have names of any of his wives and only a few of his children. no 1800 census for woodcock. in 1810 census he has 2 sons and a wife. she dies in 1816 and he teaches after that. marries again , has at least 3 daughters with wife named mary__. he dies in meadville, crawford co in 1852-53.
i am looking for information on this elizabeth limber. she is not always found on transcripts of murderkill 1800 census, as she is assumed to be a louber. if you look at microfilm she is a limber. she is not in reconstructed 1790 census for kent, not in 1810 census for kent co.neither can i find her in sussex or new castle. i have vol II about swedish church and am waiting for vol I, but she is not in vol II.any help or advice would be so appreciated, susan
