Hi Kathy,
I came across your posting on James Dorrell and I also am tracing the Dorrel/Dorrel family. I have a James also born around 1765 and died 27 Jul 1836 in Sagamon Co., Ill. who was married to a Mary. They had 9 children on of which was a James born 16 Sep. 1799 in Delaware, he died 16 Oct. 1849 also in Sangamon Co., Ill. The wife I have for him is an Eliza Wagoner with a marriage date of 27 July 1826 in Sangamon Co., Ill. Could this be your James Dorrell since it seems that he was married more than once? I've been trying to find James #1 parents I have two of his siblings. I hope we can be of help to each other. You can contact me here or at my e-mail address:
