Maria,
Are you a Boddie by marriage or birth? I saw another posting by someone that said you were decended from Cleo Ezell Dazey and James Blackmore Boddie. If that is the case, how exactly do you fit into the tree, are you J. B. Boddie Sr's child, Jr's child or a child of one of the other children?
I don't have any of Sr's children other than Jr listed, and have none of Jr's info at all.
James Blackmore Boddie Sr was my mother-in-law's maternal uncle. My mother-in-law's name prior to marriage was Mary Boddie Swaney.
Until I saw Amy Murphy's posting about Jr's birth announcement that she had found, I hadn't even begun to research that part of the family tree. I tend to get sidetracked quite easily when I happen upon a lead on any of the surnames in our family. And considering the sidetrack this one took, I am glad it happens.
I have a lot of information on the Boddies direct line of ancestors. There is a little confusion just before getting them back overseas, but I figure time will take care of that, new info seems to come in just when I least expect it.
If you need any of the Boddie info, just let me know. I'd be happy to send you a GEDCOM file or whatever you need. And I would love to have any info you have on the Ezell/Dazey line and the Boddies connected to them.
I noticed that your posting was a year ago, so I am hoping that you got the info you were looking for about the children and who was who in the photographs.
Feel free to e-mail me (address is on my history page).
Sincerely,
Carol Clark Elizer
