You might look for John Dailey as Dayly in the census in Beaufort District, SC. There were Daileys in Hampton County. I have an Elizabeth Solomons who married a Dailey there before 1837. She had two children Thadeus and Elizabeth and was dead by 1837 when her sister Freelove married and had received property from her which figured in the marriage agreement. I believe the Dailey husband must have predeceased her. Do you know this group?
