Thank you for posting. So we are probably related? I would really love to correspond with someone about the Day and Boones! I have discovered quite a bit of info about their connection. I also have lots of questions and mysteries!
Thank you for post about Samuel Day being a first cousin to Daniel Boone and that Daniel helped him move to Ohio! I did not know about the Ohio part! So cool! My cousin in Montana said she got the "Samuel Day/Daniel Boone being first cousins" from the Official Record of the Revolutionary War Soldiers. I would still like to know how exactly how Samuel Day and Daniel Boone are related? Through which relatives?
So you are related to Leonard, Samuel's uncle right? Did you know about the Boone connection through Leonard's daughter Sarah? Also did you know about Margaret Coghagen's mother Leka?
