I am searching for info on Mary Ann Elizabeth Day, b. abt 1843 in Indiana, around 1861 she Married Richard Irwin in Hamilton Co. Indiana, they had a daughter, Rosetta abt. 1864, I have not been able to find what happened to Richard, but Mary Ann married Phillip Sowers <(these were my husband's great-grandparents) in Indianapolis Indiana in 1866. Phillip died in 1897, I have not been able to find her death date, but she was living with a daughter and son-in-law in the 1910 Indiana census, after that I find no record of her. I have had some to say her parents were Ezra and Nancy (Huff)Day and she fits into their family, but online it states that this Mary Ann E. married a Frederick Hope and moved to Illinois, in the 1880 census it shows that Rosetts is living with her uncle James, Ezra and Nancy had a son, James so this would lead me to believe Mary Ann was their daughter except that our Mary Ann Day was only married to Richard and Phillip, any ideas? I would appreciate any help on my search. Thank you, Caralyn
