Hello again, Joy,
I remembered some very important information regarding the families you are tracing. On this Dawson forum between the years 2001-2006, Dennis Miller posted a number of very professional messages regarding the Dawsons of Rabun County. (You may have noticed if you did a search for Jonas already.)

Dennis Miller gave his own website: http://pages.prodigy.net/dennmill

Once you get to his home page, notice the 4th item called
Links and Downloads and click on that.
All the way at the bottom of the page, he gives a VERY detailed report of the Rabun County, Georgia Dawsons including the well known names of Jonas, Enoch, and Berry.
He calls his ten-page report "Jonas Dawson Speculations."
You have to really study it to notice that those same names of Jonas and Berry are used for a couple of generations for brothers, sons, etc. He gives his theories about the parents of the younger generation and even goes on to the Collin County, Texas families. It might be worth printing out his long report and highlighting the various Berry Dawsons to give you some specific possibilites.
Hope this helps,
Janet Dawson
