My gggg grandfather was John E Dawkins b 1756 in PW Co VA. He married Eleanor Lucille Athey b September 1762 in PG Co MD. My ggg grandfather was Thomas P Dawkins b November 9, 1784 in PW Co VA. I don't have any records or stories of them settling in GA or SC. My line later settled in MO. My dad did extensive work and I think his records may also include siblings and may go back farther than 1756 but I'm not certain. I know he was working on connecting us to a John Dawkins from this area about 1620. He had copies of land leases dating 1627. Do you have John or Thomas in any of your information?
