Re: Anguish b. 1809: I don't have any specific data, but just to let you know, from the research I have done re: immigrant Scottish families, Angus is a pretty common name among them and for reasons I don't understand, often the name ended up in various records as "Anguish". I notice that there were other Scottish names among Samuel T. Dawkins children (Duncan, Douglas) Perhaps his wife was a first or second generation Scottish colonist.
