Howdy,Catherine,

I have found out from Phil Dawkins in England that I am likely descended from a Thomas Dawkins, Warwickshire, 1663. I am also closely related to Ross Dawkins, of Gawler, South Australia. We match perfectly in 37 of 37 DNA markers. His family has been in Australia for 5 generations. The probability of us having a common ancestor within the last 7 generations is 95.73%, and within the last 8 generations is 97.28%.

If during your searches, you find that link from Thomas which might have come to the USA, please let me know.

Thanks very much.
