These two have multiple intermarriages between the two families which makes me believe they are related somehow. I no longer believe them to be brothers since Reuben married as his second wife William's eldest daughter Elizabeth, but think they may have been first cousins? Any info GREATLY appreciated. I have William Dawkins' estate packet naming his children and their residence locations. I hope to get this all posted under Pickens County on my website, Tracking Your Roots, sometime this week. I am VERY interested in hearing from descendants and others researching both William and Reuben Dawkins as well as other Dawkins in pre 1860 South Carolina.
