William Dawkins' wife to whom you refer was Jane (Jean) Calvert, alias Harrison, youngest daughter of Burr C alias H and his wife Jane____ of Prince William Co VA before 1773 and Newberry Co SC thereafter. Wm Dawkins witnessed or exctr both Harris wills. His first wife was Mary, oldest C alias H daughter. Death and marriage dates unknown. In SC, the C alias H name changed to Harriss, then the second s was dropped by the time Burr died 1786. His son Micacah used two ss. Burr is thought to have been born a Calvert (MD) and raised by Burr Harrison, Jr. from whom he heired land in Pr. Wm. but he was silent about his VA connection.
