I don't know if there is any relationship or not. I am looking for the parents of my wife's grandfather. Somewhere there was a note that he may have gone by Lonnie, but I can not find it. What I do know is:
Reid Dawkins
born July 7, 1895 at Rockingham, Richmond Co., NC
died June 11, 1972 at Rockingham, Richmond Co. NC
buried at Eastside Cemetary, Rockingham
married to
Lola LeGrand
born July 17, 1894 at Rockingham, Richmond Co., NC
died June 26, 1984 at Rockingham, Richmond Co., NC
buried at Eastside Cemetary, Rockingham
They had three children:
Helen
Betty and
Geraldine b. March 26, 1922 d. 1980
Since Rockingham is such a small town and there appear to be a significant number of posts about Dawkins either in Rockingham or in Richmond Co, NC, surely there is a connection somewhere. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it. Thanks.
