George A Dawkins - AL & GA early 1800's

I am looking for the parents of George A Dawkins. He was born about 1837 in
Alabama or Georgia. His wife's name was Louise. Children: Minnie 1868, William D. 1869, Perry 1872, Mattie Lou 1876. In 1870 he was living in Cotton Valley, Macon Co., AL. In 1880 he was living in Greene Co., AL, Clinton Beat #7. I could not find him in 1900 census. Thanks!
