My Great Great Grandfather was George Dawkins b. abt 1845, in Whitstable Kent, according to the 1891 Census for Canterbury Kent England. He Married Mary Jane Harbrome in 1875. They had 6 children, my Great Grandmother Mary Francis was the youngest. She was born on May 5th 1889 in Canterbury Kent England, and Died February 14th 1978 in Canterbury Kent England. She Married Herbert George Cordell in 1908. They had two Children, Hilda Francis b. 23 March 1910, d.23 August 1997, Married George Reginald Nichols 26th December 1932, 3 Daughters. [She is my Grandmother]. Albert George b. 21 February 1915, d. 19 October 1990. 1st wife: Peggy? 1 son, [No other details...] Common law wife Nora/Norma Jenkerson, 2 Sons David John and Stephen.
Any information on the Dawkins family would be greatly appreciated. As far as I can tell they are a large Kentish Family, but my own family is not into genealogy and is reluctant to pass on any information that they may have.
