Hi Joan,
Thank you for your message. I looked in my Dawkins - Stewart Family of VA and KY book, and I don't show a Mary Jane Dawkins.Was she born in 1840? If so, that would make her 19 if she died in 1859. There is a Minerva Jane born ca 1832, but she lived to be older.
