The Vardeman/Holmes cemetery, also contains Daws, and Stephenson family members. It is located within Lincoln County, KY, at 37degrees, 29minutes, 42seconds North 84degrees, 32minutes, 53seconds West within the Crab Orchard Quadrangle,. On the Holmes road on a farm owned by Hap Howard in 1987, near the mouth of Ceder Creek into Dix's (Dicks) River. There are 52 graves, 35 of which are field stones without readable names today. My Vardeman family settled here in 1779 and are amoung some of the first into this area. This cemetery is being moved soon. Please contact me if you wish to get involved.
