I am trying to piece together my maternal side of the family (and my mother's paternal side:

What we do know is that
Ambrose DAWES and Lucy CHASE were married in Madison, Maine, March 12, 1857. After their marriage they resided in Anson, Maine and they had six children:
William 8/5/1859
Eva C. 3/10/1860
Adelbert 8/21/1863
Florilla 6/11/1865
Mabel 10/11/1869
HARRY 4/11/1874

My mother was EVA JANE FOSTER DAWES RODENHISER. She was one of four children and the onlhy surviving child of HARRY DAWES and ELIZABETH HIRSCHFELD of Goldenville, Nova Scotia. I know that my grandparents lived in Halifax, Nova Scotia at the time of the great fire (Nov. 1917) and that in later years they lived in Worcester, Mass.

Any information from any family which might tie into these persons will be greatly appreciated.
