George Daws, b. England. My grt Grfr William
H. Daws, son of Geo. was b. 1945 in IN.
Several wives: Eliza Drinkwater, Eliza Devine,and Sarah Yarborough. Moved from IN to Hamilton Co.,IL abt 1886; d. back in Posey Co
IN on 24 OCT 1927. Son Sylvester, my Grfr.;
b. 04 JAN 1873 m. Grandmother Eliza May
Campbell sometime in 1898-99; one dau Mary
Lena b. 1899. In 1900 Sylvester left family
behind and went to CA, never to return. Died in Los Angeles CA on 22 Dec 1942. Searching
for more info and marriage record of Sylvester and Eliza for many years. According
to Sylvester's death cert. he never remarried. Any information concerning this
family much appreciated. Good Luck on your searches.
