Alfred Dawes born 1789 - East Sussex.
Alfred was my Great Gr. Gr. Grandfather, who had my Gr. Gr. Grandfather Edgar Dawes born 1821. There may be a connection here since they came from East Sussex - Wartling and surrounding area. Edgar had a brother who was born 1825 named Alfred (obviously named after Father). Still trying to locate this ancestral lineage.
