I'm also interested in this line, given the tenuous link that Mr. Berry mentions. To check on geocities for genealogy sites, try http://us.geocities.yahoo.com/search?p=priscilla+dawes. I also checked on Ancestry.com and came up with lots of interesting (as yet unverified clues). Distilling those, I doubt that Priscilla is the daughter of William Dawes and Susannah Mills. Given the supposed date of her birth, she might be a sibling though. Her father may then have been Williams father William b. abt. 1590. Summarizing the (unverified) clues about Priscilla then... DAWES, Priscilla b. abt 1617-1620 in Boston, MA d. 21 Apr 1663 Billerica, MA m. John Rogers, abt 1640. He was b. 1612 Billerica, MA, d. 25 Jan 1686 Watertown, MA ch of John & Priscilla: (Thomas, Abigail, Daniel, Nathaniel, Priscilla, John and Mary) Priscilla Dawes is alleged to have been the maid servant of Puritan Elder Thomas Oliver. John Rogers is alleged to have achieved Freeman status on 13 Mar 1639 in Watertown. Curiously, there may be another Priscilla DAWES b. 13 Sep 1712 in this line a few generations later, the daughter of Ambrose DAWES, Jr. and Mehitable Gardner. Good Luck with your search!
