Seeking Isabella Dawes, d. 1807

The COLUMBIAN CENTINEL of Boston ran a death notice on 31 Oct 1807 for Isabella Whiston, who had died in "Demerary" (Guyana?). She was the wife of Capt. Obadiah Whiston; Boston records say he married Isabella Dawes on 21 Aug 1794 at the First Baptist Church.

Does anyone have any more information about Isabella (Dawes) Whiston? Was she related to the Dawes family of Boston which produced William Dawes Jr and Judge Thomas Dawes? Or might she have met Capt. Whiston elsewhere? (His father was exiled as a Loyalist after coming close to betraying a patriot arms-smuggling operation in early 1775 that also involved Wm Dawes.)

Thanks for any information.
