Family: We need your help now! We are trying to negotiate with Lincoln County Kentucky to preserve the Vardeman/Holmes/Daws/Stephenson family cemetery as best we can. The cemetery is being moved by the county away from the original homestead of John Vardeman II who helped blaze the Wilderness Trail with Daniel Boone in 1775. We are asking for your help in the project to request the county relocate the cemetery intact to a new cemetery and historic display near the new lake. Please contact me as this is all going to be decided by April 1st of 2000!
