From my calulation we are sixth cousins. John Dawe (b. abt. 1723-1726 in Ship Cove) whom married Sarah (nee ?) is our common ancestor. John and Sarah had at least two sons. One George (grandfather of Isaac or great grandfather to Joanna Dawe whom married Ananias Mercer) and the other was John (great grandfather of Robert Hartland Dawe).
