My grandmother was Rebecca "Jane" Dawe born 1/15/1894 in Greeleytown, Conception Bay, Newfoundland. According to my mothers memory she had two sisters, Ethel and Esther and seven brothers, Jonathan Married Mary Ann Petten, Robert married Edith?, Herbert, Reuben married Sarah?, Eli, William and Henry.
Her parents Were Emma Russell and Henry Dawe, this is about all I know about this part of the family. My mother said she used to visit her grandmother, Emma in the "country". She had a cousin named Hazel (Deanie) Dawe who married Frank Hambrecht.
I was also told that Emma Russell's mothers name was Rebecca? and Rebecca's mother had the last name of Snow.
Is anybody working on this line? I need help!
