Hello...My surname is Davison. My Davison family were slaves manumitted by Benjamin J. Brice in 1852. Location: Marion County, VA. Marion CO borders Harrison County, VA. I have read that the Davission, Wilson, and Brice families interacted together. If so, then this Davission family could be the original masters of my Davison family. The Mother of my family, Letticia Davison is said to have been born in 1790, Maryland. Please, I amd searching for my "rrots" my "heriatge", so that I may pass it along. I have copies of some Davisson/Davidson Deeds from Harrison County but they are not very readable. Any assistance with my quest would be greatly appreciated.
