need help on finding information on a john davis(davies)seen it spelled both ways,was wales.came to ohio than to texas.he was either a circuit judge for the u.s. or indian agent on cherokee reservation.he was married to a indian woman.had adaughter matilda rose jane,born 1872 was my grt.grandmother.his wife died and he married a woman with name of parks.later came to pike county arkansas.where he is buried.
