I have just gotten a new email address which is gomez9399@charter.net I have posted in the past on my ancestors which lived in lower Edgecombe County N.C. John Davis Sr was my 5th great, received a land grant in 1742 around Tyancocoa Swamp. His wife was Lucretia Ann ?. They lived in that area of Edgecombe until around 1770 when he started buying land on the north side of Great Contentney creek. John left a will in 1799. His sons James and john Jr which lived in this area which much later became Wilson Co. John Jr was my 4th great he married Pheraby ?. He had sons Willoughby and Jonathan. Willoughby died young but had married a Christian Sketoe. Jonathan was my 3rd great and married a Sally Green. He was born 1789 and died Dec. of 1839 in said county. If any of these people sound familiar please write me. Again I have posted through the years using a different email but again I have a new one now listed above. Thanks Ricky G. Davis
