Hi - I've started to look into my family tree, so I'm a little new to all this.
Through family ties, I think I've managed to trace back to a Samuel Davis who was married to someone called Sarah. Samuel was born around 1792 and died around 1877 in the city of Bath in the UK.
I'm not sure if anyone here is connected to a Davis family from Bath, but I'm interested to find out more if you are. I heard a rumour, that my line of Davis' were from a load of Jewish imigrants that fled to the UK, but I cant be sure when, or if that happened.
Any info anyone has to offer would be great. I got a little family tree on the go and would love to compare notes. Many thanks, Sam
