Reann,

Just yesterday while I searched for Davis/Gorham connections, I spotted a Jesse Davis. Wish I knew just where. Guessing it was either at one of the books at google or on ancestry.com. Leaped out at me as all "Jesse"s do, because of a g.grandfather Jesse Rowland of VA. I guess my eyes have been trained through the years to alert me anytime they spot certain names/words. Will try to find Jesse again, and will certainly keep my eyes opened for him and other Davis names you mentioned. "Hildreth"... great name.

Not sure if this is the link I sent you for History of Maine yesterday or not. It's necessary to make sure the whole address gets entered. Silly me, I just realized that all you have to do is go to google/books, and start a search. My search shows up in the link below: genealogical+family+history+of+
the+state+of+maine. I pretty sure you already know this stuff better than I do.

FYI. I live just over an hour from Phoenix. We moved here from Seattle after falling in love with the sunshine. Going in this morning for a specialized CT/scan for my husband, part of the followup for surgery he had last Dec.

Joanne
