This long link goes to History of The State of Maine. You probably already have been through it, but it was new to me.
The link takes you to the Gorham family of Thankful, 2nd wife of Josiah Davis, and mother of Sylvanus.

Was happy to get date Daniel Davis of Buxton moved to Berlin. Now if only a list of his children would show up somewhere. I found "Early Records of Gorham". Only those children of Josiah & Thankful and of Sylvanus and Hannah who were born in Gorham are included.

Have you found your Davis Immigrant Ancestor? If not, how far back can you go? Curious about any connections.

Going to Phoenix tomorrow, which means I won't get much done.

Joanne
