I am searching for information on my grandfather Frank Freeman Davis. He died at 27 and is burried near Danbury Nebraska, when my mother was less than two years old . All the information I have was in her Memoirs written in 1978 when she was past 80 years. Her information was handed down from her mother so I don't know how correct it is,Frank Freemam Davis married Julia Jean Showalter(daughter of Thomas & Melissia Showalter) in 1893 in Smith county Kansas. This is varified by marriage certificate. They had 3 children before he died in 1899. They Were Noah Oscar, William Oman, and my mother Esther Ellen. Frank Freeman was supposedly the Son of John and Mary Davis who came to Kansas from Iowa in the early 188os. They had a son John,Frank and at least one daughter who married a man by the name of Haun. This is as my mother recalled. If you can help me with any information at all I would be so grateful. I have come to a dead end in every avenue I persue. I am praying this will give me me a new perspective. Thank you in advance for any kind of help. Sincerely
