I am downsizing and trying to give away information which I no longer need. I have paper concerning this couple's family, which I would like to give to someone who could use it. I am not related to anyone on this paper, and do not remember where I obtained it.
Eli Davis, Sr. was born in Virginia, possibly Stafford Co., married in 1806, the daughter of Rev. Andrew Baker. She was born in Wilkes Co., NC in 1791 and died in Grayson Co., VA in 1867. Eli died in Claiborne Co., TN, (now Hancock County. The children are listed as Elijah, John, Andrew, Louisa, Emily, and William. They are just listed and other children are with spouses and descendants. These are James Hervey, Polly/Mary Fulkerson, Patsy/Martha, and Eli, Jr.
This paper was apparently done by an Earl Davis Smith, b. Texas, 1900, with the help of a couple of other people. I will be glad to mail this sheet to the first person who will e-mail me their home address. I cannot send it via e-mail.
