The only thing I have on John and Susan are the 3 kids I gave you. I have a birthdate of 9-22-1840 for Susan but nothing more. John was born 7-8-1829; died 7-17-1916. I would be interested in info on Susan although she is not in my line.
I have Rasco's back to William Teagle Rasco, born 1730; died 2-24-1778 at Valley Forge and that he was married to Elizabeth Taylor. I would be interested in anything you might have futher back than that. My uncle says the family came from Germany and that the name was Rascoviche or something like that [who knows!], but it will be a WHILE before I make it back that far!
My mom is a Rasco. My dad a Davis, my "BRICKWALL" I'm beginning to think my Davis's lived all over the country! The states I have right now are Tennessee, Oklahoma and Texas.
My lines that I am researching are:
Briggs: MI & TX
Clancy: SC & TX
Davis
Gainey / Ganey: NC & TX
Harrell: VA, KY
Jasper: PA [husband's]
Kellum: SC
Martin: SC [husband's]
McFarland: OK & TX
Myrick: TX
Odom: SC [husband's]
Ogdon: Indian Territory, OK & TX
Rasco: KY NC VA TX
Reddick: NC
Taylor: KY [2 lines]
Tidwell / Tiddeswell / Tysdwall: KY TN VA SC MI & England
Lucy Taylor 1802 - 1880 my 3rd great grandmother's marker on her grave reads "Decendant of President Zachary Taylor" - also something that I am interested in documenting. Other than her tombstone I have no other info on this other than family hearsay that she was a neice.
