James L. Davis and Ella M. Davis, his wife sold property in Forsyth, Rosebud Co., MT in 1916 (for $1.00) to my great grandfather, Guillett Gervaise Davis (also known as G.G. Davis).

With the same last name and $1 sale, they must be related, but I don't know how.

If you have any info about James L. Davis and his wife, Ella M. Davis, I would appreciate an email to sudavis@home.com.

I have my line of Davis' back to Iowa, South Dakota and eventually (1760) in Maine and am more than willing to share.
