James Davis (1799 - 1845) married 1835/40 Mary Elizabeth Carter (1820 - after 1880) of Mulberry Grove and resided in Leigh District of Amelia County, VA. They had two children together: James Davis (1846 - ?) and Mary Elizabeth Davis (1848 - ?). (I cannot account for the date discrepancy.) Any information would be useful.
