Thomas Davis with a wife named Nancy sounds familiar to me. Also, the name Lawson is in my family as a given first name of a direct ancestor. I have some information that I will gladly share. These folks lived in Newberry County, SC in the mid 1700's to mid 1800's. Then to Union County, York County, and Cherokee County, SC. Some of them moved to AL in the 1830's and 40's. Then some went to MS in the 1870's and to Texas in the 1880's. I can give some specifics and will look for some of this information for you over the week-end.
