I had hoped that a listing for a James Davis, born 23 Oct 1762 and baptized 31 July 1763 St. James Northam Parish, Goochland Co., VA, a son of John Davis and Jerusha Parrish, would have been found since James served in the Rev. War from Goochland Co., but perhaps he left Goochland Co. soon after the end of the war for KY or TN, and/or simply wasn't taxed.
