I found on p. 129 of Ansearchin News 1977 (I think that is a Tenn. Genealogy society magazine?) a copy of the inscription on Margaret's memorial tombstone in Oakland Cemetery, Trenton, Gibson Co. Tennessess.
"In memory of Margaret Daveiss (sic) Hess. Born 22 Feb 1769 Rockbridge Co. Va; died fall 1861; aged 92 years, Trenton, Gibson Co. Tenn.Of distinguished Virginia ancestry; daughter of Lt. Margaret's brothers are Col. Joseph Hamilton Daviess and John Daviess---see "Historical Sketches of Kentucky" by Lewis Collins, 1848. Also see "History of Daviess Co. Kentucky" by Collins, 1883. I have a little more info about the brothers if you want it.
Hope this helps.
