Edward and Margaret were my great-grandparents.David Waters Davies was my grandfather. He apparently had a first wife with no children, then married Louisa Jane "Jennie" Wenrich.Their children were Lloyd George (my father), Esther Waters, and Miriam Anna.
I remember meeting Amos, George, and Josh when I was very young, probably in the early 60's.By the way, I grew up in Bethlehem and now live outside Baltimore.I recently went to visit my mother and run some errands for her.At
one point she commented that we were passing the school where Amos served as principal.
I can supply some information to you.Unfortunately, I had a hard drive crash, so not all the information is readily available.I do have some hard copy in front of me, though.I was not aware William was married twice.I only knew of Jennie Miller.I can remember my father talking about Uncle Will, and I got the feeling they were close.
If you have researched Edward and Margaret, I assume you have details on Leah, David, Thomas, Mary Ellen. William, Edward, Margaret (Maggie), Elizabeth (Lizzie), and Ruth. I can supply dates and places of birth, marriage, and death if you like.
The one person I have not been able to fit into the picture is Bob Davies. He was an engineer at Western Electric and lived in Hellertown.I can remember him well from when I was young. He must have been been born in the early 30's and I believe he died in the 80's.If you have any information on Bob, please let me know.
Please let me know if this is helpful, and also what you have uncovered.I really look forward to hearing from you soon.
