am trying to trace my great grandmother Josephine Florence Daves, she was born dec 26th 1900, and had a brother called richard llewellyn davies and a father with the same name.
Her mother was Mary Brown and she died when she was 5. I have not been able to find a birth certificate but do have a new zealand marriage certifcate it says that her father was a farmer and she was born in ebbwvale wales.
She emigrated to sydney australia i dnt know for sure when but we think it was when she was quite young but we suspect she came to New Zealand with Ann Gilfeather in 1929.
She gave the impression she ran away because of a bad family situation with a step mother and step sister called elsie pike.
Any light anyone could shed on this would be amazing.
